Product Overview:
S3600G48T6XPWR (A) series switches are a new generation of gigabit green energy-efficient Ethernet switches independently developed by KOBsec, offering flexible gigabit access and 10-gigabit uplink ports. Based on a high-performance hardware platform and KOBsec's new-generation switching software platform, this series features flexible Ethernet networking, diverse security controls, and easy management. It also supports IPv4/IPv6 dynamic routing, mature IPv6 features, intelligent virtualization technology, and flexible PoE management, enabling the construction of a new type of intelligent access network with high reliability, easy scalability, and simple management. It is widely used in scenarios such as enterprise campus access and campus network access.

Intelligent Virtualization Technology
• Enhances device-level reliability through redundancy backup between member devices；
• Improves link-level reliability and load balancing through cross-device link aggregation；
• Easily expands ports and bandwidth by adding member devices. It also supports smooth upgrades, ensuring service continuity during the upgrade process.
Flexible Ethernet Access
• Diverse Ports: This series features Gigabit downlinks and 10G uplinks. The downlink side supports 48 Ethernet ports. The uplink side has been fully upgraded to 10G uplinks to meet the increaqueuesing market bandwidth demands, and is compatible with Gigabit and 100M optical modules.
• Optional Single/Dual Power Supplies: Dual power supply options are available for PoE+ products.
Carrier-Grade High Reliability
• Supports traditional STP/RSTP/MSTP spanning tree protocols, as well as the G.8032 ring network solution. It supports various networking modes such as single ring, tangent ring, and intersecting ring, providing sub-50ms protection switching for carrier-grade reliability.
• Supports port backup with dual-homing protection and LACP link aggregation, providing uplink backup and significantly enhancing network-side reliability. Supports loop detection to automatically find and eliminate loops, ensuring stable operation on the customer-side network.
• Supports comprehensive Ethernet OAM (IEEE 802.3ah/802.1ag) for rapid link fault detection.
• Supports power redundancy backup: High-density access products offer optional dual power supplies to increase device reliability. Similarly, 48-port PoE+ products offer optional dual power supplies to ensure power supply reliability.
Comprehensive Security Control
• Supports a complete set of security authentication mechanisms: IEEE 802.1X, MAC authentication, and bypass authentication. Supports authentication server types such as Radius and TACACS+, flexibly adapting to diverse authentication requirements in campus and enterprise networks.
• As ARP attacks and ARP viruses are the primary threats to LAN security, the switch supports rich ARP defense features. For example, Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI) performs user legitimacy checks and ARP packet validity checks, and ARP rate limiting prevents a large number of ARP packets from impacting the CPU.
• Establishes and maintains a DHCP Snooping binding table to directly discard illegal packets that do not match the binding entries. Utilizes the trusted port feature of DHCP Snooping to ensure the legitimacy of DHCP servers.
• Supports SSHv2.0 for remote access, SFTP for upload/download, and HTTPS for web management, using encryption protocols for more secure management.
Mature IPv6 Solution
• Supports IPv6 ping/telnet/SSH/FTP, as well as IPv6 SNMP and HTTP management.
• Supports DHCPv6 Client/Server/Snooping/Relay/Option 18/37, IPv6 Source Guard, IPv6 prefix Snooping, and ND
Snooping.
• Supports VRRPv3, IPv6 routing, and IPv6 Path MTU Discovery.
Easy Operation & Maintenance Management
• Supports SNMP v1/v2c/v3. In addition to in-band network management, it can be managed via the out-of-band
SNMP management port, which is not affected by service traffic.
• Supports Web network management for flexible configuration and monitoring of single devices on the network.
• Supports KOBsec's RCView network management system for batch configuration and monitoring of network elements, providing a comprehensive alarm monitoring mechanism.
• Supports ZTP (Zero-Touch Provisioning) for automatic deployment. After the deployment server is set up, devices can automatically obtain IP addresses and configurations from the server upon startup, becoming manageable and configurable without the need for on-site manual intervention.
• Some models feature front-facing power connectors, enabling one-sided maintenance of the entire device. This simplifies O&M and allows for more flexible cabinet placement (e.g., against a wall or back-to-back), saving valuable cabinet space.
Powerful and Flexible PoE+ Power Sourcing Functionality
• Supports IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (optional) PoE standards, providing up to 30W of power per port.
• Features strong compatibility with powered devices (PDs), including a forced power supply mode for non-standard PDs.
• Supports intelligent PoE power management functions, including enabling/disabling PoE on a port, configuring perport output power, setting device power priority, overload protection, and over-temperature protection.
• Supports intelligent PoE power scheduling functions, including scheduled power supply, scheduled PD reboot, and monitoring PD connectivity status with automatic reboot upon disconnection.
